Taratatata! The news serves as a call to action, urging all good Samaritans to open their hearts and wallets and help Chiredzi’s artistic gem Lenso (born as Leonard Hlungwani), who is currently battling Tuberculosis (TB) and nolonger able to perform.
Lenso’s health took a turn on December 10th when he felt chest pains. Pushing through the pain, he performed at a gig in Chilonga on Christmas. But the next day, he started vomiting blood. He was rushed to a nearby clinic, where he tested positive for TB.
Meanwhile, Lenso is currently undergoing TB treatment. He barely walk or lift his arm. In moments like these, a little help worth a lot of pity to Lenso, who is down and facing financial difficulties as he used to rely on gigs to make ends meet.
