A man appeared in court for stealing sheep on two occasions.
George Ngove (61) of Nerupiri Village appeared before Masvingo provincial magistrate who sentenced him to one month imprisonment and a restitution of USD100 for stealing sheep at Hampton Farm.

Chiredzi town council purchases TLB, refuse compactor
Chiredzi Town Council has procured a tractor-loader backhoe (TLB) worth US$ 115 000 and a refuse compactor at a total cost of ZWL 16 million. The TLB was purchased with funds generated through rates paid by residents and other stakeholders as well as sale of Melbourne Park stands, and the refuse compactor was purchased with devolution funds.
